Executive Chef, Loews Chicago Hotel, ETA Restaurant + Bar
Streeterville Social Chef Trevor Hoyte brings over 26 years of industry experience to his role as Executive Chef for Loews Chicago Hotel. He oversees banquets for meetings and events for the 400 guest room luxury hotel as well as the two onsite food and beverage outlets: ETA Restaurant + Bar and Streeterville Social. In his current role, he leads the conceptualization, planning, and execution of these outlets. Chef Trevor’s career consists of a mix of experience between hotel (The Wyndham Hotel, Crowne Plaza Chicago, Sheraton Chicago, Starwood Hotels & Resorts) and free-standing restaurants (Machine Hospitality Group, AraOn, Green Dolphin, Tru Restaurant). Originally from Barbados, he leverages his global experiences and classical training as the foundation for his work. Chef Trevor supports many charities through is work and has participated in a variety of local events including StepUp’s Shine and Dine, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Grand Chefs Gala, No Kid Hungry’s Taste of the Nation, and Little City’s foundation events. Chef Trevor gained his formal training from the New York Food and Hotel Management School. In his spare time, he likes to stay active and enjoys playing basketball and running.
